The annual congress of the Hellenic Spine Society is a forum for the realization of the Society’s mission and goals, aiming to foster the optimum medical care of all the patients suffering spinal diseases and deformities. It is, therefore, a great honor and privilege for me to invite you to the 11th Hellenic Spine Congress, (http://www.ctmi.gr/spine2017) to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (http://www.cpathens.com), from 2 to 5 November 2017, in Athens, Greece.
Our ambition, as far as this year’s Congress is concerned, is to bring together, not only the domestic colleagues, but as many as possible Greek doctors or doctors of Greek origin working abroad, either permanently or temporarily, dealing with spine conditions. Their participation will be a great opportunity to meet each other in motherland and to share our knowledge.
With great pleasure I welcome you to the 9th Panhellenic Conference of the Greek Society Spine to be held October 29 - November 1, 2015, at the Hotel AMALIA in Nafplion. As we all know, our Congresses are the meeting ground for all Orthopaedic Greeks, neurosurgeons, Physiatrist and other specialists who have a special interest in spine disorders and address them. There we have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, experience and views and to stay abreast of general developments and trends that exist internationally in a sector that tends to develop into autonomous medical specialty.
2016 is the 10th anniversary of the Greek Spinal Association and it is with pride that our annual congress will be held in conjunction with both the French and Turkish Associations, as a tribute to this landmark, in an effort to show case both the European and Eastern dimensions of our association.
The emphasis of our program is based on degenerative diseases, diseases of the joints, embiomechanics and the deformed spine with specific reference to current approaches and future prospects.
